This week I decided to do a presentation about a New Zealand artist named Revus. He is a famous rapper in East Auckland. He was born in the West side of Auckland.I like him as a rapper because his flow and vibes he brings to his music.He has made many songs that have gone viral! He also has made songs with other famous New Zealand artists
Yesterday I was researching about Knova. He is a famous reggae artist in both New Zealand and Australia. I’m going to tell you some facts about Knova. Knova has won many awards especially pacific rewards. Knova has made lots of reggae music in his music journey. Knova has made over 1 thousand songs. Knova has met his favourite artist before which is Fiji. Next I’m going to tell you what he’s doing right now in his life. Knova has quit singing for a little bit because he just had a baby and he is looking after him. Knova has written a song for when he hops back on making songs. Knova is making a song for his dad and mum. I also wrote about his life and I recorded it. Here is the video.
Last week room 7 and I have been writing scary and sad stories I wrote both scary and sad story it is about a girl looking for her dad in the forest.Here is the story I wrote.
One night a very quiet night a little girl named Kava was out in the forest looking for her dad. There was mist in the air and footsteps near. Kava was scared she saw something in the distance and didn’t care she was shouting out for her dad to come to her but her dad didn’t answer his voice was not heard. She went further in the forest and saw a dead moose she went further in and she heard a gun shoot, She thought it was her dad so she walked very near but there was only people talking that was all she could hear. So she ask the people if they saw her dad, he had cargo shorts and had a little hat so the people knew what she was talking about so the people lied and said that he hasn’t been found. So Kava got scared and went back home she was really really scared and she was all alone she didn’t know the the path to get back home so she went further through the forest and she was very long gone. Kava kept walking and came apon a lake she started getting scared and had a little shake so she sat down and went to sleep she saw her dad flying to her in her dreams she woke up and she was in heaven and she started crying loud that’s what happened she went to the gates and started to scream and that’s the end of the story I hope that’s scary.
Last week room 7 and I have been learning about the Waka hourua. It is an old ancient Maori canoe that can be used for travelling and transporting. It is 18 metres long and 5 metres wide, It is very big. It has two giant mainsails it also has a hut for shelter. I heard that you can make fire on the Waka hourua. I enjoyed finding facts about the Waka hourua, some facts are amazing. What I found challenging is when I had to draw a Waka hourua it was very hard but very fun to draw.
This morning room 7 and I have been learning about Faith, Hope and Love. I learned that faith means to Trust someone. Hope means to believe in someone or something and love means to care and respect. I learnt about a new commandment and it is from Jesus. He said to love one another as he has love us.
I have been researching about Pit bulls.
I am researching about Pit bulls because they are big and strong and I love things are are big and strong. Pit bulls were made in the early 19c. they are one of the most popular dogs in the world. They can learn over 100 words gestures. they can be left handed or right handed. They use body languages to show their feelings. they can be outside dogs or inside dogs. They can be different colours. They can be cheeky. They can make friends easily but can sometimes fight with other. The pit bulls was made in England. The pit bull was made by crossbreeding between bull dogs and terriers.
Pit bulls are not only fighting dogs. people think of pit bulls as fighting dogs. which doesn’t help the stereotyping them as aggressive. Its a common myth that pit bulls have the ability to lock their jaws. Once latched to a target its impossible to shake off.
Baby pit bulls have a unique wrinkled forehead. At birth when a pit bull is born they tend to have a uniquely wrinkled forehead. The little extra bit of skin with smooth out as they grow up until they look like the pit bulls we all know and are scared of.
Pit bulls can socialise well with other animals.On top of the bad reputation as vicious dogs. The pit bull is sometimes accused of being antisocial and aggressive towards others especially small dogs and cats.
I feel happy about pit bulls they bite hard but they are fun to play with. I really hoped you liked my Writing about my passion project.
Last week room 7 and I were doing a cybersmart where we write our names and do a little bit of decoration on it.
Today room 7 and I have been doing some scripture writing. We had to work in partners to find scripture writings in the Bible. Evan and I found four scripture writings there from Psalms 125:1-2, Isaiah 66:13, John 13:34 and Isaiah 40:29 I am really grateful to do this unusual but fun work to do, and I really hope to do more work that’s related to this. Today room 7 and I have been learning how to drag files, make a copy and rename files. There were 12 questions I Thought it was easy because I knew that answers already.When I finished I published and I thought I would get some questions wrong but I got it all right.
Today room 7 and I have been learning how to look after our Chromebooks. We had to watch a video of Ms Tofa. In the video she said to take a quiz to see how you treat your Chromebook.
